Some options for accommodation during the Fulkerson 100 workshop are listed below. There is also a University of Waterloo website that lists short-term accommodations.
Delta Hotel
The Delta hotel at 110 Erb St W, Waterloo is a state-of-the art facility located only a short walk away from the university. It is located in the centre of Waterloo, steps from many downtown restaurants, and shopping, as well as Waterloo Park. The university can be reached by following a trail through Waterloo Park. This is the hotel nearest to the university; some other hotels are listed on above the UW page for short-term accommodations.
Summer accomodation at UW and Wilfrid Laurier University
Some less-expensive accommodation options can be found as part of summer accommodations at the University of Waterloo (UW) and the nearby Wilfrid Laurier University.
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at discounted rates for Fulkerson 100 at the following two UW-campus locations, which are quite close to the workshop site (QNC):
- MacKenzie King Village: 4-bedroom suites that can be booked with access to 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms at different rates.
- Ron-Eydt Village: Single or double occupancy rooms.
Hotel Laurier located in Wilfrid Laurier University at 200 King Street North, Waterloo offers various options including semi-private and private rooms.
