MATH 247 Calculus 3 (Advanced), Winter 2024


Note: The MATH 247 final exam will be held on
Friday April 12th, from 12:30-3:00 pm, in MC 4064.

The exam will cover Chapters 1-7 in the lecture notes,
with the accompanying exercises, and all of the assignments.

There will be about 5 questions each with about 2 or 3 parts.

You should know the statements of all theorems and definitions,
and the proofs of the following 5 theorems from the lecture notes:

Theorem 2.31 (Open and Closed Sets in Subsets of Euclidean Space)
Theorems 3.10 and 3.11 (Sequences, Limit Points and Closed Sets)
Theorem 5.7 (Differentiability Implies Continuity)
Theorem 5.17 (Vanishing Derivative Implies Locally Constancy)
Theorem 6.8 (Taylor's Theorem)
