Final Exam Date
We do not yet know the date for the final exam.  It is strongly recommended that you not book any travel for yourself during the examination interval.  For example, in the past, there have been delays in the examination schedule caused by weather events, and of course these things are beyond the control of the University.   Some slack has been built into the schedule at the end of the interval to compensate for such things.

Any travel you book for yourself during the term may have academic consequences if you are not able to fulfill your course obligations. That applies to students who make a late arrival and miss lectures and assignments at the beginning of the term, as well as examinations, lectures, or assignments in the middle or the end of term.

Capturing GeoGebra images
It is possible to export GeoGebra figures to be included in a report or other document. Look under the menu item "File", and select "Export". Various formats are avialable,
  1. ".pdf" (Portable Document Format) my current favourite,
  2. ".svg" (Scaled Vector Graphics). like PDF, it scales well,
  3. ".html" (HyperText Markup Language) (yes, a web page!);
  4. ".png" (Portable Network Graphic) my favourte pixelated format
  5. ".eps" (Encapsulaed Post Script) and
  6. ".emf" (enhanced MetaFile).
Some people have captured "screen shots" with mixed success.

Course Software
The software for this course is GeoGebra. GeoGebra is recommended. There has been some talk about a tablet version in the works.

If you wish to use GeoGebra on your personal machine, it is available for free download from  geogebra.org. Another excellent program is Cabri II Plus. Look for it at www.cabri.com downloads.
