• account access rights - 5 levels
  • Course Editor
    • can read and write anything in course
    • can't change course roster (ask Liaison or uwacehelp@ist.uwaterloo.ca)
  • Course Assistant
    • can read what Students can read
    • can enter grades online into dropboxes
    • can enter grades online into Gradebook by user or by assignment
  • Student
    • can read material not hidden
    • can submit message and file attachment (default) to dropbox
• dropbox - what, how, online, offline
  • a place a student can submit a note to course staff, themselves (default)
    • option settings - file attachment allowed
      • submissions visible to other students
  • grade online inside dropbox
    • input grade, comments, attachment (commented student work), send email
  • grade "offline" with Utilities > Download Submissions
  • Utilities > Export Submission & Grade Data won't give student work only names, submission dates
  • increase file attachment size - see appendix
• teams - necessary? more management work with teams (but diff section policies may require teams)
• gradebook set up
• student view (User Preview button)
