Dear Fernando (and Rob and Kim Chuan), I am happy to accept your paper for publication in the special issue of MPB - in honour of Jos Sturm. I have some final comments from the last referee. I think you responded well to the earlier comments from this referee. I hope that these last comments help you in completing the paper. Do you think these comments are valid? Would you like to add anything to the paper, i.e. additional clarification in light of these comments? I leave the decision on how to modify the paper (if any modifications are required) totally up to you. But, please tell how you plan to proceed. And, please prepare a final version to send to me and also to Steve (Wright). thanks again for your contribution - the issue is just about ready. ----------------------comments from the referee follow. I wrote a program and found that the correlation between the iteration number of IPMs for SDP-lib problems and the all 1 vector goes to 0.9460, amazingly high. Based on this, all these measurements seem to have nothing to do with the practical performance of IPMs.
