Daniel went into school and he was very puzzled. How did the hat appear
on his head? But now he really did not want to take a chance on losing
it again. So he kept the hat on his head.
However, the teacher did not want his students wearing hats in class and
told Daniel to take his hat off. But Daniel refused. He did not want to
take any chances. So the teacher took the hat off of Daniel's head and
put it in the closet with all the coats and closed the closet door.
"Now, back to work," she said.
Then the teacher went back to the front of the class. When she turned
around - she could not believe her eyes.
Daniel's hat was back on his head - and the whole class was laughing.
The teacher was now very angry. "I do not like tricks played on me in
this class," she said. She took Daniel's hat again and put it in her
desk. It was now recess time, so everyone left to go outside.
And, yup you guessed it. While Daniel was playing outside his hat
appeared on his head again. When recess was over, everyone was waiting
to see what the teacher would say. She was flabbergasted. She said that
she would have to have a talk with the principal about that hat.
Daniel was very happy when school was over for the day - he wanted to
get home and look his hat over very carefully. He couldn't wait for the
school bus to arrive.
