Daniel's dad liked to work hard and long.
It seemed like he would never
stop and take a holiday.
But, finally, Daniel's mom reminded everyone that it was time to
get ready for their holiday -
and get the car ready for a trip to the lake.
They drove a long way - to a beautiful lake and a great cottage.
While Daniel's parents were windsurfing
Daniel walked around and explored. Suddenly he saw a moose running right
at him.
He did not know what to do. He thought that the moose would trample him
- but then a bear came out and scared the moose away.
What a bear!
