OUTLINE of MIDTERM EXAM (winter/01) CO367
This (winter/01) midterm will have questions taken from the material
covered in class from chapters 1,2,3,4 (section 1), and 5 (section 1)
of the text. An outline of the topics covered in the
lectures is provided on the course web page.
There are several topics covered in class that are not in the text.
These center around closed convex cones, dual (nonnegative polar) cones,
geometric characterization of optimality using polar cones
(Pshenichnyi condition). You are
responsible for these topics for the midterm.
