\section{Math 235 Review Questions}

The following questions should be accessible to any student who is enrolled
in M235 in Fall 2001. Most of these questions have appeared on
M235/M136 final examinations over the last 8 years. These questions have
been chosen without prejudice, that is to say we do not make any claim that
they represent the questions on the final examination.
However, if you can answer them all yourself then you
will certainly be ready to attempt your final examination.

Conrad Hewitt will be in EL101 on Saturday Dec. 8th 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. to
help you difficulties in any of the problems. In addition the
Tutorial Centre will be open on Friday Dec. 7th. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In your examination you will be asked to prove the whole or
part of one of the following results from the course notes.

\begin{itemize}
\item  Lemma 1.3

\item  Lemma 1.5

\item  Lemma 1.12

\item  Theorem 3.3

\item  Lemma 3.5

\item  Lemma 3.7

\item  Lemma 4.1

\item  Theorem 4.6

\item  Lemma 4.15
\end{itemize}

\smallskip

There is no True/False question on your final examination.

Your examination will concentrate mostly on the material
after the midterm,
however you will be expected both to know and to understand the earlier
material.
