My History

I was born in Bendigo (Victoria, Australia), but left there at an early age for Warragul Eventually I left Warragul to go to university at Melbourne, and my subsequent moves are detailed in my CV on my home page. There is a photo purporting to be from an early stage in my career.

My Surname

We do not know much about the history of my surname. My paternal grandfather was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, and all Godsil's in Australia are his descendants.

Some Fish Stuff

Our family is extended by one Senegal parrot (Lucy) and some tanks of tropical fish.

(My daughter once called me a "fish-keeping math nerd", so I felt obliged to include this stuff.)
