This course provides an introduction to important classes of incidence structures that arise in combinatorics: projective and affine planes, Hadamard matrices, t-designs and their relatives. The study of these structures has connections with geometry, number theory, coding theory and group theory. There are applications to extremal graph theory, statistics and quantum information.
