Research Associate, Institute for Quantum Computing,
|
Currently I am a research associate in the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) at University of Waterloo. I work with Michele Mosca and Mark Giesbrecht. Last year I was a Post-doc in department of mathematics at University of Toronto, working with Kumar Murty and Mark Giesbrecht. Before joining U of T, I was a Post-doc at School of Computer Science, Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and department of Combinatorics and Optimization at University of Waterloo for four years. I worked with Mark Giesbrecht, David Jao, Michele Mosca and Éric Schost. I got my PhD in mathematics from Western University under joint supervision of Nicole Lemire (department of mathematics, Western University) and Éric Schost (department of computer science, University of Waterloo) in Aug 2017. For the last two years of my PhD studies, I was a visiting PhD student in department of computer science at University of Waterloo. I was also a visiting PhD student at Fields institute (University of Toronto) in Fall 2015.Research Post-Quantum Cryptography Publication M. Giesbrecht, A. Jamshidpey, E. Schost, Subquadratic-Time Algorithms for Normal Bases, 2020 (Computational Complexity).
