I intend to mostly follow Part 3 of the lecture notes from last term's PMATH 733 (which covered Parts 1 and 2). These notes are also available bound from Media.doc in MC 2018 for $13.02.

Erratum: There is a minor technical error in the definition of structure and L-structure in the notes. Here is a correction.

Assignment 1. Due Thursday January 31st in class. Typos: in Question 5 you do not need to assume A is empty and in the hint to 6 the saturation should be one cardinal bigger than what I suggest.

Assignment 2. Due Thursday February 14th. Note: the original version had a typo; X and Y in question 1 should be disjoint.

Assignment 3. Due Tuesday March 12th.

Assignment 4. Due Tuesday April 2nd.

Here is revised information on the Term Projects: Talks will be 25 minutes in length (plus five minutes for questions), the presentations wil be held April 9 and 10, 1:30 - 4:30 in MC 5045.
