This is me with my wife (then fiancee) Stephenie Corn, in College Station TX.

I earned the T-shirt by riding the 2004 Houston-Austin BP MS150. This is a 180 mile, 2 day bicycle ride which raises money for Multiple Sclerosis. It -- like Texas politics -- is heavily sponsored by oil companies. The team which I joined, now sponsored by Sun & Ski Sports, used to be "Team Enron". That cycling jersey would have been totally cool!
I won the 2002 U. Waterloo Alumni Gold medal.
This is my faculty picture taken at Texas A&M, fall 2002.
Where's Nico?

This is a week before the Superbowl in Houston TX in 2004; Union Pacific (UP) drove this Challenger locomotive to Houston from its home, in Cheyenne WY, to celebrate. The locomotive is being prepared to rest for the night in Hearne TX (~20 miles north of College Station).
If you can find me, you will see the back of Stephenie's head in front of me.
Ahh ... autumn.
I was raking leaves one morning, when a photographer from the local paper drove up and asked if he could catch some pictures of me raking leaves. I figured the picture would get buried in the Local section somewhere. Instead, it's on the front page, caption (paraphrased): "It's warm today, not so warm tomorrow."
Ahh ... spring in Ontario.
This is April 17, 2011. That is snow. I am foolishly training for a half-marathon in Ottawa on May 29. (Picture thanks to Sandy McKean.)
