John Sinkovic

About me

I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo. I'm part of the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization working in Chris Godsil's algebraic graph theory group.

Before coming to Waterloo, I was a visiting assistant professor at Georgia State University for two years. I received a PhD in mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2013, supervised by Wayne Barrett. Here is a link to my thesis. I spent the first two years of my PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. While there I was a member of the Combinatorial Optimization department working with Hein van der Holst.

My current research interests lie in algebraic graph theory, spectral graph theory, and combinatorial matrix theory.
