  • Research

My research is in number theory, algebraic geometry, and arithmetic dynamics, though I enjoy thinking about many other things.

I am interested in the multiple zeta values, which are real numbers defined by a certain infinite series. I am also interested in the arithmetic of finite truncations of this series.

    In preparation

    • Dynamical orbits on the projective line with values in a subfield, with J. Bell
    • Primitive divisors in postcritical orbits, with M. Zieve
    • Multiple polylogarithms and congruences for generalized harmonic numbers
