Three of my top five are in top fifty.
You must be very proud of the breadth of your reading.
Darn right! Only progressives are allowed to be bigoted! Follow Dr. Professional!
If you think that's narrow, you should hear the few radio programs I like.
The biggest surprise here is the Western Journal moved from 23 (last year) to 5 in one year. And then there's The Week (7) and Conservative Tribune (14) that dropped off altogether, along with RedState of course.
Thanks to Paula Bolyard and PJ Media for publishing this.
Judging by recent content, one would be hard-pressed to describe The Week as a conservative site anymore, so it was not ranked (purely a judgement call, I admit). RedState is still on the list (up four slots to #24) and as I noted above, Conservative Tribune appears to have merged with Western Journal (they did not return my request for a comment).
Oops, I missed RedState, sorry! I agree with you about "The Week."
Interesting stuff. Thanks for putting it together for us to complain about :)
Says the complainer....
Puzzled at what keeps RedState on the list, considering how NeverTrumper they are. They lost a huge group of conservative readers in the past few years.
I knew every name on the list -- and my favorite site came in #50.
Big cheers for Citizen Free Press. I love that site.
https://www.citizenfreepres...
It's so much better than Drudge. You can thank me later, ha.
I was responding here to a progressive troll, but it looks like his post has been deleted. Snowflakes feel the need to besmirch everything conservatives do. Harumph.
The Weekly Standard and National Review - PUH-LEEZ!
Drudge report ? they've become too sensationalized
No longer conservative!!!
You are correct. And it isn't even conservative anymore. Matt Drudge has become a virtue-signaling centrist in his middle age. I haven't visited the site in 7 months. Can't stand how he has turned against Trump.
Become rich, become a celebrity, everything goes to centrist mush. Protecting one's empire.
It does show why many of us don't consider ourselves conservative anymore.
Understandable. For same reason I rarely call myself Christian. Go with follower of Jeshua Christ or something. Servant. Don't wanna get tossed in with the trash.
America is the richest, most powerful nation the Earth's ever known. Further, the empire flourishes in the most materialistic hour the world's known.
This brings great temptation, esp in terms of money, popularity/celebrity, and access to sex. You toss in the huge incentives given culture-wide to daughters and their parents, not many resist.
With modern conservatives in general and Repugnicants specifically, we see the effects of these and related corrupting factors.
From a spiritual standpoint, it's much more preferable to capture souls with their consent, i.e., through worldly pleasures. In the old days there was far less glut, and so aside from the elite, folks often had to be terrorized into malevolent acts and alliances. This is a 'lesser victory' because reduced conscious volition is present in the event.
Haven't visited him since POTUS' election. Something was off about Drudge even then.
Today's "conservatism" is nothing but sensationalism.
It used to involve ideas and values and principles, but if you even mention those, you'll be mocked by the new "conservatives."
Not really. It just served as the loyal opposition to help conserve progressive cultural gains. The talk in the past did not good, so it was not really good ideas by definition.
But we must appreciate that everything that happens can instantly become a dire, apocalyptic, shocking, bombshell revelation. badblue.com is a similar aggregator with less of the drama. And what inquiring mind doesn't crave the fox news home page's "shocking" revelations about celebrity lives?
I just clicked on a story linked from Bad Blue, and it was 4 months old. I'm not impressed.
Try a few of the other links, they're not all dated. I occasionally see stories there I've missed elsewhere.
Drudge Report --- too sensational
The Daily Caller-- like dealing with miss manners, they are prudes
Gateway Pundit -- they will ban you if you fart in your own house.
Cato -- Libertarian, not conservative
Weasel Zippers-- another one that will ban you if you fart
National Review -- open borders advocate, not conservative.
WorldNet Daily (WND) -- can't trust 25% of the stories.
Weekly Standard - anti trump, open borders, "multi cult" freaks.
'says the alt-reich anti-semite guy , you have the most questionable friends and you upvote them.
poor baby... try some zinc oxide on that rash
I'm not the one will that strange twitch that makes you go do the '88 to the mirror.
/you really should know better, I mean you did realize enough to hide your history ,well some ;)
How do you get banned at WZ? They are pretty wide open.
Argue a point with a poster not knowing it's a moderator.
Happened to me on another site .. whose mod happens to occasionally write for this site.
Certainly not for vulgar and profane comments.
Sludge- NOT conservative
Daily Caller - vanilla ice cream minus the vanilla & sugar. It sucks‼️
WND - 👍
True Pundit - 👍
Mychal Massie - 👍
New Neo - 👍
**My list is too long to list but usually scan my top 30 daily**
Ha! I've always thought World Net Daily was the conservative answer to Truthout. In other words...an adventure into the bizarre world.
Rush Limbaugh's show should be numero uno with Drudge, perhaps, second. Sundance at Conservative Treehouse is usually right on the money in his analyses I'm surprised One America News Network (OANN) didn't make the list, even though they've banned me from posting.. .
Why is the defunct Weekly Standard listed and National Review hasn't been conservative since William F. Buckley, Jr. died?
As the article stated, they left out broadcast sites. Limbaugh is a broadcaster.
then why was he listed #23? du-oh!
Haha.
So funny.
I've been banned from 7 of the top 13.
supercollider you got banned from more, you just changed your name.
Maybe conservatives don't like foreigners in their political chats. it'
s common enough of a problem in other commonwealth countries.
You might have noticed when you weren't trying to lure people to Vegas, that most of the righties here on PJ have admitted to being banned from sites. It's not a crime, you weirdo. In fact, it's happened to you as well. Quit playing internet mall cop.
Hey Paula put the links behind the names!?!?
I
only have shortcuts to four of these, others I follow links to
regularly, a few I avoid (NRO). I visit ZH except when the antisemitism
or Russian agitprop overflows, are they really "conservative"?
I guess any news site that is not flaming crazy left is now "conservative", and maybe ZH is less flaming crazy than, say, CBS.
Breitbart is too crowded, nobody goes there anymore.
I'll try and add those later today. Please check back!
While you're checking, the site is The Federalist and not The Federalist Papers. The Federalist Papers were written a few hundred years ago to promote the ratification of the Constitution.
The Federalist is listed at #19. Apparently there's a separate site called The Federalist Papers (#39), although I'm not familiar with it.
Correct. I've added the URLs so you can check them out.
