Both my parents lost their first spouses in the Holocaust and served in the
Hungarian Forced Labor Brigades. Sometime in the 1970?s, I talked my father into
writing down his wartime memoirs because he had been telling me funny
war-stories as far back as I could remember. I edited/translated these and
