Chris J. Conidis

I am a Fields-Ontario and NSERC postdoctoral fellow at the Fields Insitute and the University of Waterloo.  My supervisor is Barbara Csima, and I work in mathematical logic and computability theory.  In particular, I am most interested in applications of computability theory to other branches of mathematics and logic, such as algebra, analysis, model theory, and computer science.

I received my PhD in June 2009 from the University of Chicago math department, under the guidance of professors Robert I. Soare, Denis R. Hirschfeldt, and Antonio Montalban. I received a BS from the University of Toronto.
