November 14:    Note that D.R.'s office hour has moved to a slightly earlier time on Thursdays, effective Nov. 17, 2011.

November 7:    A.N. is away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2012. His office hour is moved to Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, 3:30--4:30 pm. You may send email with any questions you have after that.

October 31:    There is an information session on graduate study in mathematics at Waterloo, for undergraduates in the second year and above on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at 4:30 p.m., in MC 2065.

October 12:    A.N. is away on Oct. 14 and Rajat Mittal will lecture instead. A.N.'s office hour on Oct. 14 has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 13, 1:30--2:30 pm. Note that C.S.'s office has changed. Also, question 5 on Assignment 2 has been changed since the original posting, please look at the latest version of the assignment. Assignment 3 has been split into two parts. The first part is due on Oct. 24, so that you can see the solutions before the midterm. The second part is due on Oct. 31, as before.

September 30:    A.N. is away on Oct. 5 and 7, and C.S. will lecture instead. A.N.'s office hours on Oct. 7 are cancelled.
