The Mathematics/Business Administration program, in operation for nearly 30 years, has graduated more than 1000 students, and has well-established ties with industry. This program is offered through both systems of study: regular takes 3 2/3 years to complete, and co-op takes 4 2/3 years, inlcuding six work terms–equivalent to two years work experience.

Graduates of this program earn an Honours BMath in Mathematics/Business Administration–an outstanding preparation for a wide variety of careers in today's high-tech, knowledge-intensive economy.

Areas of specialization

Systems Management Package: Courses in the mathematical and computer sciences combined with introductory and advanced business courses including marketing, business policy, business finance, organizational behaviour, and investment management, as well as economics courses.

Risk Management and Insurance Package: Courses in the mathematical and computer sciences combined with courses that include business, economics, general life insurance, commercial and business law.

Economics Package: Courses in the mathematical and computer sciences combined with courses that include business, micro- and macroeconomics, and micro- and macroeconomic theory.

Financial Analyst, Toronto Dominion Bank. Provide cost/benefit and capital expenditure analysis, financial advice, and assessment of new funds.

Internal Auditor, AGF Management Ltd. Collect, analyze, interpret, and document audit results, including sampling and data testing.
